The K180 Ophthalmoscope head is made from high-impact polycarbonate housing for durability.
The HEINE K180 Ophthalmoscope 2,5V head must only be used with a 2,5V handle, such as the BETA battery handle (X-001.99.118). The instrument can however be upgraded at any time by changing to a 3,5V bulb (X-002.88.086) and a rechargeable BETA handle or wall unit. Such an upgrade would double the brightness of the instrument.
