HEINE EasyClean LED SHORT Laryngoscope Handle with reliable and autoclavable LEDHQ technology is delivered complete with bottom cap excluding batteries (3xAAA-batteries, LR03). The handle is 100% waterproof (IPX8) allowing for even simpler, faster and safer hygienic reprocessing of the handle without complex disassembly and assembly. EasyClean is compatible with all laryngoscope blades according to ISO 7376 (Green Standard). The EasyClean LED laryngoscope handle system was developed for simple, fast and safe hygienic reprocessing as well as a perfect view and reliable design for a successful intubation in all – critical and non-critical – airway situations. In combination with HEINE Classic+ laryngoscope blade the system also offers significant lifecycle and environmental cost savings. Non-slip “Wave Design” improves the reliability of the wipe disinfectant for the handle after use (‘Intermediate – Low-Level Disinfection’). In the case of immersion disinfection (‘High-Level Disinfection’) or low temperature sterilization processes (STERRAD, STERIS), neither the batteries nor the LED light unit needs to be removed. This saves the technologyal service personnel a great deal of time, and reduces the training and maintenance effort. For high temperature reprocessing above 60 °C, only the batteries need to be removed and the bottom cap remounted. Typical operating time is 10 hours, and then the exclusive Fade-out function slowly reduces the brightness as battery operating time diminishes, ensuring maximum safety during intubation and optimum use of batteries. The LED incorporates a heat management system ensuring that the brightness, homogeneity and colour rendering is guaranteed the virtually unlimited lifetime (typ. 50000 hours) HEINE LEDHQ – The right quality of light throughout the lifetime, no bulb exchange, no service, longer battery life.
